Town & Country Sanitation isn’t just a service provider — we’re your neighbors. As a family-owned business, we live in the same communities we serve. We believe in keeping business local and treating every customer like family. Town & Country Sanitation started in 1994 with a purchase from a local family friend of around 250 accounts. 5 years later another purchase was made and gradually the business has grown, expanding into the southwest Iowa communities that we serve today. Including the most recent Red Oak purchase where we were already operating for the last 20 years. We are 100% locally owned, with local employees.
Meet the Owners
Kevin & Amy have lived in the Griswold area their entire lives. Raising their family where they were raised, supporting local, and being a part of the community has been and continues to be very important to them. We strive to carry over the importance of local service and support into all the communities we serve, by donating to and supporting schools, community events, local chambers and organizations, as well as other local businesses.
Kevin has been on the Griswold volunteer fire & rescue department since 1994. Kevin has previously served on the city council, is the current city ordinance officer, and Amy is a current council member. We are involved in the Griswold Community Betterment, Friends of the Fish Farm, and Griswold UMC.
